  • © Center for the Protection of Inherent Rights (CPIR) values and respects your privacy. We have prepared this privacy policy to explain the manner in which we collect, use, and disclose personal information when you visit our websites located at www.cpir-usa.org, donate to our cause, participate in one of our programs or otherwise interact with us.

  • 1. COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION CPIR is a tax-exempt 26 USC § 501c3 nonprofit faith-based charitable organization advocating for inherent rights as more fully described in its Mission Statement. CPIR accepts donations to support its operations and mission. All donations are tax deductible.

  • INFORMATION WE PROCESS IN CONNECTION WITH ACCEPTING DONATIONS AND PROVIDING SERVICES: For donations and some services we may provide, including through our Donations page, Affiliate referrals, Contact Us page, or other interactions, we may process information such as name, email address, home or billing address, and donation amount. We use this information to deliver the services our donors request. Donors are responsible for providing all required notices, obtaining all necessary consents, and otherwise complying with applicable privacy laws with respect to the collection, transfer, and use of the information by us to provide our services. If your organization donates to CPIR or uses our services, we may collect personal information about you such as your full name, role, organization name, and email address to collect donations or to otherwise deliver our services to your organization.

  • Neither your donations nor any of the information we gather on the website, through our payment collections vendor portal, nor at any linked or Affiliate sites are intended to provide legal, tax, accounting or other professional advice, nor to create an attorney-client privilege or other professional relationship with you unless such relationship is memorialized in a signed retainer agreement or other similar writing executed by CPIR and you. Should you require such legal, tax or professional advice, you agree to seek and retain the appropriate professional services within your own discretion.

  • INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND USE THROUGH OUR WEBSITE AND OTHER INTERACTIONS:
  • We may collect personal information when you donate to CPIR or a charity or Affiliate with whom we partner, sign up to receive communications from us, or contact us.

  • DONATIONS AND FUNDRAISING:
  • If you choose to donate to CPIR, including through our third-party payment processor, we will collect information necessary to complete the transaction, such as your full name, billing address, credit or debit card number or other banking or financial information (depending how you wish to donate), expiration date, security code, and email address, for purposes of accepting your donation and issuing you a receipt for tax deductible contribution. Donations are made to CPIR (federal Tax Id. No. 92-3782109), which uses all donations (minus service fees), within its sole and absolute discretion, for its operations consistent with its mission of advocating for inherent rights as more fully described in our Mission Statement. All donations are final upon completion.

  • COMMUNICATIONS:

  • If you sign up to receive email communications, we will collect your email address to send you information about us. You can unsubscribe at anytime by clicking the “unsubscribe” link included at the bottom of each email. Alternatively, you can opt-out of receiving email communications by contacting us at the contact information provided in the “Contact Us” page of our website. Please note that you may continue to receive transactional communications from us.

  • EVENTS:

We collect this information to communicate with you about the event and contact you about future events.

  • CONTACT US:

  • When you contact us with a comment, question, or complaint through email or telephone, you may be asked for information that identifies you, such as your name, email, address, and telephone number, along with any additional information we may need to help us promptly answer your question or respond to your comment or complaint. We may retain this information to assist you in the future and to improve our services and programs unless you direct otherwise.

  • 2. SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

  • We do not sell or disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as set forth below or as required or permitted by law.

  • DONATIONS:

  • If you donate to CPIR and wish to publish a testimonial or any similar message designed to uplift and encourage other potential donors or users of our website or services or programs, we may, within our sole and absolute discretion, post your name, donation amount, and any such testimonial or message on our website upon your express written consent. We reserve the right to refuse to publish any such content or materials that are not in keeping with our mission and purposes or for any other reason, within our sole and absolute discretion.
